the rules, in plain language

be anonymous. don't be a problem.

Anonymity is a privilege the whole room shares. These terms keep it usable for everyone. Use Haunt and you're agreeing to them.

Who can join

You need to be at least 13 to use Haunt, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. If you're under the age of majority, you confirm a parent or guardian is okay with it.

Your account

One person, one account. Keep your login to yourself, and don't impersonate someone else or pretend to be us. You're responsible for what's posted from your account.

What you can't post

No hate, harassment, threats, or targeting individuals. No doxxing, illegal content, spam, or scams. Anonymous doesn't mean consequence-free — this is the line.

Your content stays yours

You own what you post. You give us the limited permission we need to display and distribute it inside Haunt. Delete it and we stop showing it.

How the reveal works

The unmasking mechanic only applies to comments, only when Haunt Mode is on, and never to posts. Ghost Mode keeps you anonymous no matter what. By posting in Haunt Mode, you accept that a popular comment can be unmasked.

Enforcement

Break the rules and we may hide content, limit features, or remove your account — sometimes without warning if the harm is serious. We try to be fair, but keeping the room safe comes first.
