Posts and comments are anonymous by default. They show a generated persona name (like "velvetotter42"), no handle, no profile link. The only way you become visible is if a comment you wrote crosses 30 likes — and you always see that coming via the heat meter.

Only your comment reaching 30 likes unmasks you. You can delete any comment before it hits the threshold. You'll see a heat indicator at 20 likes, a pulsing aura at 25, and a glitch warning at 28. If you're uncomfortable, it's in your hands.

Yes. Every post is location-stamped at creation. You can post at a haunt if you're within its radius. You can read posts from anywhere — but you only see what's near you, unless a post "escapes" (hits high engagement and breaks out to everyone).

AI moderation screens every post for hate, harassment, and targeted abuse before it appears. Users can block, report, and hide in one long-press. Three reports auto-hide a post. Repeat offenders get shadow-banned, not just muted. The reveal mechanic is itself a deterrent — nothing grows big if it'd get you in trouble when it unmasks.

Your identity is stored encrypted on-device. Post content is tied to a rotating anonymous ID, not your account. We don't sell data. We don't serve targeted ads. The business model is a small premium tier for power users.
